Overview

This course provides individuals with a demonstrated understanding of the fundamental knowledge, processes, and terminology as defined in A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide).

Pre-requisites

At the time of the application for examination the candidate must meet the following requirements: Educational Background - High School diploma, Associate's degree or global equivalent AND Project Management Experience - 1,500 hours of professional experience on a project management team OR Project Management Education - 23 contact hours of formal education

Course Description

The Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM®) Examination Preparation Course is designed to meet the knowledge components of the Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM®) Exam. The course content is based on the Guide to Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) according to the Project Management Institute (USA).  Preparation for the  examination component of this  qualification is offered by Logikal Training International.

This course, typically delivered over one day by Logikal Training International, is designed for those who intend to undertake and pass the CAPM® Exam, to demonstrate that they meet the knowledge components of the qualification as outlined by the Project Management Institute (USA).  This includes understanding the fundamental knowledge, processes and terminology of project management.  The qualification is suited to professionals who contribute to projects as subject matter experts and team members, including those with responsiblity for individual project tasks in areas of  expertise such as finance, marketing, customer care, fulfillment and processing. They may also serve as project sponsors, facilitators, liaisons  or coordinators.
