LogiKal was initially engaged to undertake a Project Readiness Review in the lead up to a major Internal Stage gate. Following this review and the subsequent recommendations LogiKal was retained to tackle two areas:
- Manage the consolidation of the estimate/budget (annual and whole of project) and supporting documentation and prepare the presentation packs for the stage gate reviews.
- Install a Tiger Team to rapidly develop the necessary procedures, systems and tools and to ready the project for execution phase.
Outcomes: The project successfully passed the Stage Gate securing budget to procced with early works and to progress to Financial Close.
As project moved pre-execution phase, the procedures and templates where made available to the project teams to enable a rapid start-up.
Further work - Following the successful stage Gate Approval LogiKal was retained to perform the PMO function for the project (Controls, Cost, Reporting, Systems etc) as well as to provided support and expertise to the project teams to enable them to ramp up and commence early works.
